A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

We are a hardworking, family-owned and operated small business based in Southern Oregon. Founded in 1987 by Jim Johnston, Memorys began as a one-man operation producing and selling cremation urns to funeral homes in the Pacific Northwest. Jim used to create a selection of urns, load them in his van, and visit various funeral homes to offer samples of his products. He is remembered for his authentic and down-to-earth approach, always arriving in his cowboy hat and boots and allowing his personable nature and high-quality products to speak for themselves.
 

Following initial success, Memorys began offering cremation products and shipping containers beginning in 1989. Three years later, we were serving businesses in Northern California, Idaho, Washington, Montana, and Oregon. In 1993, we moved out of our at-home shop and into our warehouse, where we've successfully operated since.
We greatly miss our founder, Jim Johnston, who passed away in 2020. Memorys is now owned and operated by Jason Johnston and his wife Patty. The operations team also is staffed primarily by our immediate family, including Donn Johnston, Blake Johnston and Cole Johnston.
 

Moving into a new chapter, we are excited to honor our company legacy of superior service and strong relationships established by our founder. We hope to continue to grow our business and supply high-quality employment opportunities to members of our community.
